Ed’s extensive experience as a post supervisor and visual effects artist has kept him well versed in the industry’s creative technologies. He has the innate ability to develop and troubleshoot multiple workflows and is a mentor for new talent. Ed worked in feature film and live television before coming back to the commercial world where he reunited with former client, Jason Macdonald at NO6. He then teamed up with Verdi Sevenhuysen to launch what is now known as NO7. He has contributed to a number of high profile projects with brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Pepsi, Fed Ex, Dairy Queen, L’Oreal, Footlocker, Microsoft, Stella Artois, Gillette, ATT, Verizon, ESPN and many more.
Verdi has that rare blend of talent and experience in all branches of Post Production. A teacher and a geek as well as a perfectionist, he always seems to find a way to improve visuals beyond what’s expected. He is just as comfortable Set Supervising, 2nd Unit Directing to leading a VFX Team and finessing Final Color with a room full of clients. It has been said that Verdi always seems to find a solution for the impossible and he certainly tries to live up to that reputation. He has worked on campaigns for Taco Bell, Volkswagen, Burger King, Fruit of the Loom, Go Daddy, Ford, Samsung, Slim Jim, Chevy, Lincoln, Microsoft, and Google to name a few.
